If you follow me on Insta then you might have guessed that Luke and I have recently touched down from an amazing week on the beautiful Isle of Santorini. I cannot begin to explain how beautiful the island is. I’ve never been anywhere so picturesque in all of my life, and I fully understand why it’s such instagram-bate. And Lord knows I bit.
I must say, despite the immaculate blue skies and sunshine, my favourite time of day had to be dusk, without fail. We were lucky enough to have a sea view room so we were able to put our feet up and relax each evening whilst watching the sunset on our terrace, was an absolute delight. I’ve never seen colours running through the sky the way they do in Greece, I think it should be on your bucket list for sure.
I 100% want to go back and visit again, it’s such a small and cute little island, but also so unique and unlike anywhere I’ve been before, even elsewhere in Greece. There’s some kinda magical and peaceful vibe in Santorini, especially in Oia. OMG Oia, Oia is something else. But there are no pictures of it in this post so I’ll move swiftly on…
Truth is, I’ve still not posted a non-holiday related picture since I got back. It’s been almost two weeks and I’m still not ready. Holiday blues are a real thing people! Plus come on, Santorini back drops are 178x prettier than Manchester backdrops. Now don’t get me wrong, I love Manchester as much as the next proud Manc, but visually it can’t quite touch Santorini can it? You don’t get sunsets like this in a city.

There is a few more holiday-themed blog posts to come as well, so I hope you’re in a holiday mood! I love nosying at people’s holiday outfits and what they got up to, so I’m planning on on doing a ‘what we did in Santorini’ kind of guide, and a few outfit posts too, of course. Let me know if you have any specific questions and I will be sure to cover it all in my post!
In other news, I’m off to Paris on Sunday for a couple of days, sudden jet-setter I know (OJ, just booked my only two trips of the year to be within a couple of weeks of one another didn’t I. Great move, I know). Anyway, please do send over any recommendations you might have for Paree, they would be much appreciated! We are staying in the Latin Quarter, so in particular I would love to be able to find some cute restaurants nearby. I’m also thinking of putting a bit of a guide post up after that trip too, as it will be my third time visiting and it’s one of my absolute favourite cities 💖.
