Festival Fever: What I wore

As you saw from my post yesterday on Beyoncé’s V Fest looks, and those that you follow me on twitter will know that this weekend I went and lost my festival virginity at V Festival, Hylands Park in Chelmsford.

I realised that style-wise, festival fashion is my favourite, and suits me down to the ground as I’m such a casual person when it comes to my personal style, and I love the relaxed, fun, but cool look that everyone goes for at festivals, and I dress like that throughout most of the year so I felt right at home!

I did mean to get some outfit photos to show you all whilst I was there, but it just didn’t happen so this will have to do,  Sorry!

On saturday morning I got dressed into this netted Basket jersey from Primark, with a luminous yellow DIY crop underneath, Dip- Dyed Shorts from Topshop. I teamed it with my trusty white converse, grey bum-bag from eBay, frilly grey/white socks and black sunnies from Primark and my thick gold chain from H&M to top off the look. I really liked this outfit because it just felt very me, and made me feel cool, and that’s what fashion is all about right?!

I guess I got a bit of Beyoncé fever and had a diva moment myself, with an outfit change halfway through the day on saturday. I changed into my plain denim shorts from Topshop, and Ombre shoulder-less sweatshirt from Topshop. In my defence I only did this because the weather took a bit of a turn for the worse and my bright pink rain coat had to make an appearance too!

On sunday, Chelmsford gave us much brighter weather  and I opted for my plain denim shorts again, with my textured T-shirt from Forever 21 which I LOVE as some of you may already know from my OOTD post back in July here. Again, I teamed this look with my trusty converse, bum bag and gold chain, but opted for my bigger, Audrey Hepburn style sunnies from Primark.
