For those of you that follow me on instagram, you’ll have seen that the past month or so has been full of lots of changes for me. The end of June saw me getting my University results, and I can tell you now that I have never been so scared/ anxious/ nervous/ stressed for anything in my entire life! I’m sure a lot of you can relate to that feeling, 4 years of hard work (and a hell of a lot of student debt unfortunately- whoops) coming to one end result on a piece of paper, it’s a HUGE deal! Thankfully I got the result I was after, so was over the moon!
As well as getting my results, I was also packing up and moving out of my last ever student house (*sob*), and into my new flat in the city (of Manchester, not London) thinking I’m some kind of high-flyer (which I lurrrvveee), and you know, they do say that moving is a teeny weeny bit stressful don’t they? I’ve got to be honest, the transition from student-ville to city life is preeetty expensive.. Luckily for me I landed my graduate job the day prior to getting my degree results, which took a bit of pressure off the whole scenario financially, but it was definitely a bit of a whirlwind time to say the least. Oh and then I started my full time job a few days later. So there’s been a bit going on whilst I’ve been M.I.A. from the ‘ole blog, I hope you can forgive me.
Anyway, I’ve had a month now to get myself settled in my new pad and try to get used to the routine of full time work, so I’m going to get back into my blog. I really have struggled to find the time to shoot or get any kind of content together, but I’ve really bloody missed it. I need to try 10x harder, so that’s what I’m going to do. I’m not promising you x amount of posts on this day and that day each week, but I’ll promise you that I’m back, and that my posts will be something I’m proud of putting out there. What’s the point in posting anything otherwise? Hope you like what’s coming.
It’s good to be back. x
